Does anyone know if the Element 87s fit true to size of do I need to size up half? Usually 8-8.5 in most pairs.

Edit - recently bought a pair of those tailwind og, 8 fit quite big could have sized down half.

I'm normally a UK8 and fitted a UK9.5 of a friend the other day which seemed to fit pretty fine. So depending on how wide your feet is, sizing up 1 size might not be a bad idea.

I bought these a few months ago as I’ve started doing a bit of walking on the basis that they are waterproof, however after my last two goes they just aren’t… both times now my feet have been piss wet through. Walked over a slightly damp field this weekend and the toe box just leaked straight away, am i reading it wrong or expecting too much?

If I send a moany email to Adidas are they going to say they are only waterproof to a point?

Yeah in the specification bit:

GORE-TEX lining for waterproof, breathable performance; Superhigh-traction rubber outsole; Traxion outsole for optimal grip

Terrex usually have GTX in the model name to denote Gore-Tex, they'll also have Gore-Tex printed on them somewhere - check the little tab by the heel:

I've got Terrex Agravic GTXs, they're as waterproof as a pair of wellies. If yours don't have the Gore-Tex tab or GTX name, looks like yours aren't Gore-Tex.

The description is the same for the ones that say GTX and the ones that don’t but mine don’t have that tab on. Definitely says they are waterproof but maybe they’ve got it wrong, might send them an email anyway.

Id say it's a balls up by them and they copy/pasted the description, price would idicate yours are the non gtx version.

TTS IMO, I’d only size up half if you have very wide feet.

Was going to save these for holiday next year but with the weather being ok I gave them a go. Had to change the insoles on both pairs I have as it was too thick and made my heel sit too high in the shoe.

Sometimes I like them, sometimes I don't. Different colour of those and the other CP track trainers that people liked on sale at Matches right now.
