Rapha and Romance both have new Goretex collab kit as well

DC are doing some good stuff if you like the OG stuff. They also have slimmed some down. es are also doing some of OG stuff slimmed. But I got say I didn’t rate the durability much.

Yeah think I’d struggle with the super padded chunky styles now. Used to love es

Feel so out of the loop, new balance, Adidas and Nike skateboard specific shoes were not around for me, stopped just before Nike sb launches I think.

GTX Pegasus are going back.

Can't get on with the decals and they're too big.

I'd say go 0.5 down from your OG Air Max size.

I haven’t tried them but some of the newer adidas ones appeal to me. I dunno what it is but I can never see myself wearing nikes to skate in. I remember when Nike sb launched the first time around and it sucked. So I think that has stuck with me all these years later.

my best pair I've had in the last few years was a pair of vulc sole Adidas superstars. Super flexible, comfy and fairly hard wearing. Adidas seem to do the best skate shoes these days imo. Converse one star CC is a good pair too, and almost a plain CP-alike so good for wearing even when you're not skating

I feel the same with Nike, just doesn’t feel right somehow. Dunno if it’s nostalgia but there used to be more smaller brands when I used to skate.

Quite like the look of the Adidas busenitz Vulc and the campus 80s, I’ll try and check those out. I’m just gonna be rolling around a skate park really, bit of mini ramp and tryna get some flat tricks back so don’t need anything over tech. Just excited to get back into it! Although I can’t walk today!! Laughing out loud

Adidas busenitz and SS have been the best if skated in.
however for me the converse one stars i had were not padded enough on the heel, even with that lunar insole, my feet were killing me after but maybe its an age thing though Sad

Mine have that thing on the tongue where you slip the laces through, stops it.

I keep looking at these 990s. I wasn't keen on them when they were first released but they've grown on me. What's the consensus on the v5s?

95’s are probably my favourite ever trainer, and I probably would have tried if I wasn’t paying for an extortionate none term time fucking holiday next year Evil

Edit: saying that though, I’d probably find the OG version for a better price!
