If that's the case than it's equally as bad, this idea has been done to death in recent times.
Vetements/Balenciaga, Gucci and even Diesel have done this.

People will still post fire emojis and love eye smileys and bang on about him ‘opening doors’ and ‘the culture’

I don’t see why people can’t see it for what it is. A crude attempt by one of the whitest elitist corporations on earth LVMH to leverage the black luxury fashion buying dollar. Gotta admire how well it’s working tbh.

Liked the Goldie/Gza visuals though. He’s a lot better at that stuff than designing clothes

I don't fully agree at all man, I agree with the sacrificial lamb analogy - but no matter what the corp heads underlying intention is, his appointment HAS opened doors.

Vogue's appointment of Edward Enniful has opened doors. One simple example is that we have seen many grime artists feature in the magazine recently from Skepta to AJ Tracey - regardless of what the motive is, everyone uses everyone in whatever industry; there's give and take on both sides.

Progressive to me would be having the most talented designers of different ethnicities with the money men behind it in that community. Otherwise you get an NBA type situation where lots of the stars are people of colour but the owners are not.

He essentially fired Lucinda Chambers because she was white

They raised personal allowance and they're going to again, whilst I'm under the top tax bracket then it helps albeit slightly. The help to buy ISA and starter homes initiatives will help me as I'm trying to buy my first place in the not so distant.

So tell me how would of voting for beaker would of helped 'working class' me exactly?

Quite the political journey! At this rate Essex will be an An-Com by next year, great stuff Cool

How do you feel about voting for the hostile environment? 'deport first, appeal later' was a key part of the manifesto you voted for to get an extra few quid back from HMRC.

Reckon that might affect a few more people of colour than representation and cultural appropriation at a fashion house Laughing out loud . I'm glad that you care about the latter now though
