It's currently -8c in NYC, what trainers both look decent and are good for keeping your feet warm?

I couldn’t find anything that was decent for the cold. I used to like a Air Force duck boot but there isn’t any recent ones. Ended getting insulated boots.

I was in Minnesota last year and it was -25c so it doesn't seem so bad.

Terrex COLD.RDY worth a look if you're set on trainers over proper boots.

Just got back from Canada where I had some days with -18c

Honestly as long as you don't wear something completely inappropriate like fukknits most sneakers are fine paired with some warm socks. Merino or Uniqlo heattech would suffice

Whereabouts in Canada? I spent some time in Alberta a few years back. The temperature there went well below zero but I’ve had plenty of days in the UK which have felt colder. I think it’s down to moisture in the air. Alberta being so far inland that the air is noticeably drier

Toronto. Yeah I know what you mean regarding the temperature. I just got back home in Amsterdam and am struggling with 4c while I felt quite alright back in Canada. Not sure what it is but somehow cold hits different here Laughing out loud

Pfft, fuck that. -5 to 5 C Paris temps (similar to Eng and Ned) is much easier to deal with than the "dry" -23C temps of AB/Minnesota..

you’re really liking Arc'teryx these days
was reading about how it became big in the graffiti world to steal goretex jackets, even in Australia summer there are lots of lads running around or skating in Arc'teryx jackets

Great brand arc teryx, first and foremost it’s excellent outdoor gear, understand the fashion side of it but really gear like that needs to be put to use on mountains!
