Who ever is helping Yohji oversee the shoes for Y-3 is on a fucking roll. I'm not interested in those, but they look like how one would imagine a designer running shoe should look.

I agree.

Adidas designer series shoes are beginning to outshine much of what nike is releasing in terms of all around aesthetically pleasing shoes. nike is all tech, and their casual styles are terrible.

the popularity and trendiness of Jeremy scott, The edginess and high price point of Rick Owens, what ever the fuck Raf Simons is doing that people will buy, and the New Found character of Y3; If kanye fucks around and drops a popular shoe, Nike my have some meaningful competition and will stop putting out mostly wack shoes and bad retros
