Exactly, dunno how people are going to make distinctions between visvim and the cheaper shoes they imitate then say CPs are just Stan Smiths.
what makes them "high end" Besides the prices?Menswear: What 'Claire Rayners' Are You Wearing Or Feeling? (pics only)

Why you so bothered by some trainers?
Edit: @ Sayword
I've been saying this for years. CPs are just garbage Mid-level trainers. If one wants to be the same/or wants to have a discrete non-stand out look, it's the perfect shoe. however there are better options by other brands for every model CP has created thus far. People are getting hustled imo.
Edit: @ Sayword
This is just the trainer perpetuation of the problems people have with APC, Acne, Our Legacy etc. Some people see the value in having higher quality but retaining simple designs some don't… High end doesn't need to mean complex or eccentric… most brands people like on here are overpriced to some extent

I like CP's but will you post some pictures of the examples you are talking about that you think are better please.
Well we already know stan smiths and courts are better than the achilles model, unless you are looking for "better leather." And their actual dress shoes range like derbies? don't even get me started.needles have also put out better looking simple shoes

Those Needles are really shit. CPs are decent quality, have nice subtle branding and without a doubt are the best looking white court shoe/trainer out but they are easily £50-70 overpriced. I would happily buy the white with the green heel but not at over 200 sheets.
There is a bit of a boring 'look' about just now with a lot of people wearing CPs and oxfords but it's a timeless look IMO.
Stan's are a completely different shape and have a completely different sole unit so a comparison doesn't make sense.
Converse 70s are the best white trainer/shoe for the price IMO. Great summer shoe at £65.00.

It obviously depends on wether you're a subtle, considered dresser, or wether you like t make sure that every bit of what you wear spells 'I tried'. Neither wrong, but some people just like to wear nice things, in a considered and subtle way.
Those needles for instance, with the two-tone. If I saw someone wearing them, if think they we 'into fashion'. Likewise, if I saw someone wearing CPs with the flash of gold, I'd think, they're 'into what they wear'.
