Another 'lol' at the game really. The sock darts were originally sought after because they were designed, or reissued, by Hiroki. They were a limited fragment/HTM release. Kids/resellers these days don't understand it, and now the hype is about the shoe, not the story behind it. I think essentially the problem is Nike. Releasing far too much, far too quickly.

those are laughable really.

u think the recent popularity boost of adidas, as well as the performance competition of under armor, got nike thirsty?

I think it's mainly down to Paul Gaudio. He's literally let collaborators collaborate, rather than sticking their name to a piece of PR. Moving their HQ to Portland would have helped, meaning they've probably managed to hire a whole bunch of better designers than previously. I could be wrong though.

You only have to look at Nikes recent releases, the Free Ace Silouette and the Huarache Carnivore to see they're scared. Both look remarkably like something Kanye would have produced at Nike.

It's down to collaborators, and Adidas have built a better place for them.

They not looking to understand, some kicks will be always be hype, but even if you look on the bay some kicks not going that much more above retail.

OG infras + scream green hit the sale rack.

If you know what store to reach Jordan's are easy to pick up. Burny if some of the people wearing Jordan's you wouldn't really want to cop.

I think you've misunderstood my post. I think we are agreeing with each other. People are buying up the latest general releases because they think they can make money from it, but in reality the original thirst was for the fragment/HTM versions which create the hype originally.

Anything frag or HTM is going to create thirst.
