Red 87s are immense - shame the profile and height makes them look like stabs

Completely lost.

"This is a progression in design evolution terms because…." (discuss in no more than 500 words)

This whole scene is stuck in the past.

The red 87s would have been better with a plain midsole.

This whole scene is stuck in the past.

It's a re-release of a retro running shoe, due to popular demand. Most people will wear it as a 'fashion' item.

Nike have plenty of new releases using their trademarked 'flywire technology' if design evolution is what you are after.

Starting to see it now. Will Osh Kosh and Kickers be doing any re-releases of early 90s designs or Vauxhall re-releasing their 90's model Astra in updated colours? Be great to live in the past and never move on. Great for the brands too as they are under no obligation to do any designing when there's a steady stream of victims queing up to 'me too' it up all the time.

As for Flywire! You think this (a re-hash of the 70s Cortes) is design evolution? Try again.

What was your retro cycling get up all about then? How much fashion as a whole is just a rotation of old trends?

Remember the last great piece of Nike design evolution in the shape of foam shock absorbers? Might have something to so with why people are so retro obsessed.

Also choosing the Cortez is a cheap shot, you could have plumped for the Hyperdunk or the Luna Racer and found shoes which are both innovative and (reasonably) attractive.

Even I like these and I never wear air bubbles.

Sneaker Freaker seems to think they're a girly size run so best hope you've got small feet.
