But Noble your nearly 40 so why are you even worrying what trainers kids are wearing?

I know you have an interest in fashion but it should make you chuckle how these things come in cycles and waves - 10 years ago AM1 were everywhere.

Remember the SB days and dunks - it all come sin waves - I guarantee they will start to blow up again soon.

The spread of information has made things much more accessible to the youth of today which is why Nike are capitalising on it.

Im not arguing with you btw - I agree they are everywhere but its always been like that.

I had jordans as a kid but not all the colours. Classics or wallabies far more popular than Jordans mainly down to price and people not really like basketball kicks.

Loads people in the uk never really like basketball kicks, when the retro jordans came back always used to get told why I am wearing basketball kicks.

The only nikes that have ever been as popular as am1s are now, were the dunk, the am90, the am95, and the tn's. Deffo. Not jordans or am1's. Those four took over the country at different times.

In reality most man had high tec, Dunlop, Jordash, 4 stripe, fake LA gear, or pilmsoles.

If you had Nike, Fila or Adidas you was Don.

In UK when Jordan 11 dropped was mainly only basketball heads that played that went mad and copped. This time on Gamma blues everyone gone nuts.

Think tn's might of been a london ting, so might have to allow them lfc.
But they were absolutley fucking everywhere down here for a while.
Shops opened and were only selling them.

Rick was a poor mans air Jordan 1.

Jay Z Roc Nation now got shares in Trapstar, stuff is shifting and one of the few urban uk brands doing anything.

Gants hill shop used to sell em for £250 and they sold out every time. Guy used to go on holiday once a month to florida, bring back two cases worth, ship another two cases worth. Must have made serious cash back then.
