So basically you're ranting on about people not wanting to spend huge amounts of money on clothing when they can get it cheaper when in sale? Genius.
It's nonsense that people buy 'loads of sale shit'. They just buy items that where really expensive before and now are (more)affordable. The remark that some items might be 'shit' is subjective. But can you get it cheaper in sale? I've yet to see anyone post anything in a desirable size (46) that's wasn't shit. Give us a rundown of all the amazing stuff you've bought in the sale @staygold
46?
do you even lift?
do you even tall?I'm just into fashion not sales
Do you even tall?
Think theres an overestimate of sale expectations here, some people presume something will get reduced and seem annoied if its at 30% or whatever

I remember before the consensus was anything decent would have gone by the time sales started, and if not then definitely as soon as it was reduced.
The expectation of getting things 50-70% off wasn't there at all, and the excitement/hype around when sales started didn't really exist either.
How much of that is due to the changing shopping landscape (ie better, earlier reductions, more stuff hitting sales) and how much is just different people on Fuk I'm not quite sure. Having not been on Fuk much for quite a while I have noticed the attitude to sales has completely changed.
clothes prices are up, disposable incomes are down.

not sure about the 50-70% expectation but with many retailers dropping discount codes early in the season i think there is an increased reluctance to pay full price for stuff.
in the past you either bought at full price or waited several months until the end of season sale but the landscape has changed.
my wardrobe is a good example of this.
