im not sure if this is even the right section but seems the most appropiate. but thought i'd give you a heads up on www.scrimpy.co.uk basically its a new project developed by me n matt ("the people who brought you goofbay") and its basically a sales search engine. So rather than having to trawl through tonnes of sale sections on different sites; you'll be able to view them from one site.

For example if you view the Clothing & Accessories Sale and you'll see sale items from Oki Ni, Urban Outfitters etc all in one place. What we are looking to do is get as many retailers (who have good sales) on board so you can just get all the bargains in one place.

We are working on size/brand filters etc too so that you can search multiple store sales for item you want in YOUR size (rather than trawling the sales only to find everything you want is only available in XXL or XXS). Also made it so you can subscribe to price drops (because most fashion retailers drop the price of items as the sale progresses) so if theres something you fancy but its slightly over budget, we'll email you the instant the price drops! You can also search by % saving to see what the biggest reductions are (for those hard core bargain hunters who just care about what it originally cost).

Please feel free to PM me with suggestions of any fashion sites that have good sales that you'd want to see on the site and we'll get their sale items on board (whether they like it or not hehe ). Just like Goofbay this is going to be community driven, and because its our own project we can add pretty much any tools/features you like. Just get your suggestions over. The plan is for it to be a '1 stop sale shop' this time next year so at the end of season sales you dont need to shop around. We adding sites regardless of whether they have an affiliate scheme so long as they have decent sales so suggest anyone you like.

Any questions or if you want to have this in a seperate thread just PM me.

Happy bargain hunting!

What annoys you about them? Is it the wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube men type angle I use on the copytext ("Thanks to a shipping error I am now currently overstocked on wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube men, and I am passing the savings on to you!!") - that may go over lots of peoples heads if they dont watch family guy Smiling

Exactly, only better - because tkmaxx get the crap once its failed the sales! So it really is the stuff that didnt shift - whereas this is the current sales. I'll tell you what, if tkmaxx had an online store i'd bet they would give some of the 'big boys' online a run for their money - price is still a very key factor for the majority of internet shoppers. Tiz true i tell thee.

hardly much of a saving as they seem to sell them for double retail in the first place!
