Clearly you didn't convert yen into British Pound Sterling as 8,000 yen does not equate to 7,000…

For future reference when attempting to import use xe.com and add a pound as paypal seem to convert differently.

It was on Sale 2 weeks back for (I think) $340CAD. You might have to wait a while to get a reduction again.
