Any Garmin users on here? I started running recently (see running thread) and decided to buy a Garmin but in true fuk style I've gone from wanting a forerunner 45 to a 245 then to a Fenix 6 pro in the space of a couple of days Laughing out loud basically the 45 would get worn for running and that's it, but from what I can gather you can store full workouts on the Fenix possibley the 245 too.
My 4 day split workouts are stored in my wellness app which is a technogym app used in my current and previous gyms so I am pretty used to it, I've had a look and you can sync the app to Garmin but does anyone know if I can transfer the workouts to Garmin? I had a look on Garmin connect and it looks like re creating the workouts would be a ball ache. I wear the Sub day to day and can't wear a watch at work so doubt it would get much wear when not exercising but if it allows me to not have to take my phone into the gym the extra £££ would be worth it.

Bit of an aside, but do you listen to music whilst you run? I bought a GPS watch with in-built memory and bluetooth headphones. Gamechanger. Makes such a big difference not having to carry a separate music player.

I’ve got the 245 Music. You can create workouts on the app and send them to the watch. It’s very, very easy. Listening to music (minus carrying the phone) is a huge plus too. It’s a great bit of kit. I’d highly recommend!

Dose it show the little animation of the exercise like the fenix?
Think with re doing all my workouts, literally the first exercise I searched for on the app didn't exist.
How does it work say I'm doing a flat bench press on a Smith machine
Set 1 10 x 40kg
Set 2 10 x 60kg
Set 2 10 x 100kg

Can I adjust it as I go say? if I up the last set to 105 but only do 8 reps

Also can you download music from your phone? Or do you need to use a computer? I'm sure I read somewhere that you have to use some garmin software to download your music.

A garmin for me is a running watch! Hadn’t even give weight training any consideration. No idea. Laughing out loud

Music wise, assuming you have Spotify, all you need is the watch, a phone and WiFi to store the music on your watch.

Well yeah that was my initial thought but if I can load my weight training programs on it save me taking the phone in the gym its worth the extra money.

No I have apple music which I don't believe is supported yet. When I'm running I usually listen to old dj mixes on soundcloud.

Did you pay full whack for yours? Looking about runnerinn seem to have the best price but they have terrible reviews.
