the second one will prob be more practical for telling the time -like on a sunny day - could be hard to see the gold in the light if you know what i mean
both are nice watches mate

blue all the way,

my friend has an IWC and its the nuts, i often find myself in a daze just staring at it, beautiful. he has a steel crono with black crocodile and off white face, he got it from geneva airport as it was 1k cheaper than the UK

I had decided on the blue but was swayed when I saw the version with gold numerals as it came across a little bit more refined.

But then the gold might be a bit too dressy? (This'll mainly be a weekend timepiece).

Blue one imo.

IWC portuguese is a lovely watch.
Ive recently had a look at it and have decided to buy this instead of a patek phillipe aqaunaut for my 30th this christmas.

It just seems so elegant & timeless

I used these to buy a watch a couple of weeks ago - excellent experience, although had to pay by wire transfer.

That sounds a bit pretentious!

The blue is better of the two IMO.

blue imo, gold could look a bit too much at times.

You're the stockbroker guy with the Mazeratti aren't you? I think it's a classy weekend watch and not at all pretentious.

Both are nice and understated. I'd go for the blue but with a black strap. Actually for the that kind of money I'd go for an in your face Cartier Santos 100.

That kind of response makes my last post all the more poignant, does it not Funky?

Rhetorical question so don't answer, on with the thread.

…I've not seen you post any relevant content. No WAYWT pics, no shoes. Lots of silly unnecessary posts - like your non existant 50k car one and that one about you getting lots of spam email and you also tried to sell a skanky tan coloured leather jacket in classifieds that nobody would buy in a million years.
