Got to be more than the 18k gold one? Never been a huge fan of platinum though, from a distance it just looks like silver.

White gold, yellow gold and platinum are all roughly the same price for an ounce, but platinum is more difficult to work with so generally more expensive for jewellery/watches.

Platinum is about £800 an ounce 24 carat gold is about £750 but I doubt you can make watches out of pure gold it's too soft!
18 carat is about £550 and white gold depends on purity too 18 carat is about £500
