Good 93150 is 500+ easy as said above. " Rolex Reference 1680. Circa 1985", "paperwork".."has a great case that hasn't been over polished by zealous watchmakers", "After all, these watches are numero uno on many enthusiast's grail list for good reason"..

hobby seller with overall shady descriptions, wouldn't touch with a barge pole.

Hobby sellers. You know them then! They do a few ropey Tudors from time to time that may be of interest.

Got to be more than the 18k gold one? Never been a huge fan of platinum though, from a distance it just looks like silver.

White gold, yellow gold and platinum are all roughly the same price for an ounce, but platinum is more difficult to work with so generally more expensive for jewellery/watches.

????????????????????????????

White gold is a mix of gold + other shite metals. How could it be the same price as an ounce of pure gold?

Platinum is about £800 an ounce 24 carat gold is about £750 but I doubt you can make watches out of pure gold it's too soft!
18 carat is about £550 and white gold depends on purity too 18 carat is about £500

Really? Have you got any pictures or links to pictures of it been done? Given everyone from the (now) staid Audmers to the avant garde of Hublot plays with rubber when using gold and steel I thought it might work quite well…

This place does the end links. Personally I just don't like the look of the way the rubber B connects to the watch, it looks out of place.
I like the AP ROO on rubber strap but the AP bracelets really are much better, particular on the RO. But I am biased:
