there's an amazing navitimer from the 60s (with original papers!) on tz-uk, if only I had the cash…

Can anybody recommended a website to buy a good quality, reasonably priced nato strap for a speedmaster/datejust?

Latest purchase
18038 from 1986 serviced in 2014 (remplacement dial/crown/hands). I have been looking for this one for years, finally found it at decent price w/ box and papers+service papers

I bought it in Japan (Kame-kichi in Nakano, near Tokyo).

I have a 6694 for sale but it doesn't have box nor papers.

Was flying from Schipol yesterday (my 25th Birthday) so decided to treat myself to this. Got it for considerably cheaper than high street retail price. Really happy with this as I believe current prices are on the up.

Congrats - Very nice, not too up on current prices but seems like a very good deal for a brand new sub date.

@discotits: Good price that - Was that a special discount or is it due to the current exchange rate 1£=1.40€ Jawdropping!

Well it's tax free shopping from the Gassan concession stands. So that appears to be the major discount factor I would of thought? I was worried about being stopped when I flew back into the UK as I'm assuming the customs and excise folks would of been interested in earning some £ for the taxman.

You're one lucky sod! I've passed through schiphol about 6 times the past year and everytime they've been out of stock. Got tired of it and ended up getting mine from Hong Kong airport.

Anyway congrats on your Birthday and watch!
