Man on the moon looks crap with the leather, that bracelet is unbeatable.

Mines on a ralleye leather strap like the one below, looks much better than the bracelet

whats fukers opinion on options under £500?

Something like a Steinhart ocean one that offers lots for the money - swiss, sapphire, good movement, very well constructed
But is ultimately a cheaper copy of a much more expensive watch

Or something like the Seiko SKX007 which is a classic design in its own right but isn't on the same level in terms of quality and "ticking boxes"
I wish companies like Steinhart put more of a twist on these homage watches, I like the C.Ward C60 for this reason but to get under £500 you have to go quartz

Look out for a preowned Glycine Combat Sub. well worth the coin.

I have a Glycine Combat Sub with a few straps (original rubber, nato & watchadoo bracelet) complete with all boxes/papers. Keep meaning to get round to list it on the bay etc - let me know if interested…

No probs. I've just got a Junghans that doesn't get any wrist time. Cracking price though.

Blue with those fat hour markers they have on the newer datejust looks terrible. White all the way.

Pre 2000 with blue dial and the slimmer hour makers looks the business.

Blackface white batons FTW, out those two, bottom one.

That strap on the sea-master is nice (but still don't think go well together)
