It would only ever sit where the natural indent is on my wrist, thought the bracelet was a bit loose so it may have moved up a bit.

I'll probably end up going with the 36mm Datejust.

Yeah saw them in The window of The Watch Gallery in Westfield last week. Look decent.

They'll be a bit more expensive than a Datejust also in precious metal, because of the day complication. But they aren't available in steel obviously.

For a man the lugs of the watch should sit closers to the ends of the wrist. Otherwise it will look too feminine

Do it. Small watches are on the way back, that guy sounds like he's insecure in his sexuality or trying to upsell you to something you shouldn't want. 36mm Datejust is a classic… any bigger and the watch does not disappear under a shirt sleeve.

I'm picking up the 36mm datejust next week. It's a classic, and I don't think it looks great in the 41mm. Way too big, that's what a sub is for. Datejust is a classic, not a show off watch. Explorer is nice, but not a touch on the datejust.

The most recognisable luxury watch in the world, not a show off watch?
