Looking at that on hodinkee this morning, seriously nice watch. Like a chrono version of the JLC Jubilee except actually available in metals that don't mean a 5 figure price.

Gassan @ Schipol airport. It's a bit of pot luck because they won't tell you the current stock if you call up and ask but you will save at least a grand buying there.

Yeah day after I paid full wack people recommended Schipol, also Jersey apparently you can get flights really cheap and you don't pay duty there

Is it just a cheap dealer in Schipol or is it duty free even though you are in the EU for some reason? Can't see the later being the case.
Do they stock JLC?

They're an official Rolex stockist. Duty free regardless of your destination (EU or Non-EU).
There's a two storey Rolex boutique in HKIA, where I got mine and received a significant discount. Not as good as Gassan though.

What the fuck is up with G-shock Frogmans these days?! They seem to go for minimum $800?! When I bought mine in 1998 it was $350..I thrashed it and last battery replacement the whole watch was dead so looking for a newy. or I saw refurb parts on ebay too…

What's the deal with airplane peanuts?

yeah but I thought electronics (and I consider g-shocks electronics) were getting cheaper these days?. Hype price?

okay looking on Yodobashi.com and it's only these multiband radio frequency time set deals that are $$$, the standard G-frogs are still around the same price they was in the 90s..
