Hulk is unreal in the flesh. Such an eye catch watch. If you fancy it I wouldn't hesitate.

I have a mate that works for a company working with Omega at the moment. She's saying that she can get 30% off some Omegas ATM. That's unheard of at the minute right? The Speedmaster prices are wild now compared to 3 / 4 years ago when I elected not to buy one.

It's working out at the lower end of speedmaster scale:

Around 2100 quid

About 2400 quid

Thing is I'm looking (once again) at the Omega Baby Ploprof and seem to have a good example but I don't want to buy both. I've not really bought any higher end new watches, only really Seikos which I'm keen on. I quite like the idea of something new to mix it up and Speedmasters seem to be holding value in the used market. Thoughts?

nice watches but not a fan of rubber straps personally

Most of my watches are tool watches so I have a few. Straps are sometime a bit irrelevant to me as I'm happy to flip between nato, mesh etc.

Baby Ploprof such a nice watch - is it NOS or OG

It's NOS. I missed out on an Omega provenance certified one (still WatchCo NOS) mid last year due to being a little too tight. Was 450 more than the one I'm looking at currently but was probably worth it. I'm checking with a friend as the watch was last serviced through a guy on Pistonheads and need to see whether he's any good or not. Servicing Omega has risen faster than the speedmaster price over the last few years.

I think Dee had a Baby Ploprof a while ago? Not sure if he still has it, if you do Dee, let me know.

What be the going rate if I was selling my Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch (2011) on an original Omega leather strap with deployment clasp?

Sold it, poss on here, was offered it back too and regret not buying it back. Bienne resto circa 1976, great watches, sit much nicer on the wrist than the bigger SHOM 200 version. Bonus if you can find one with the original tritium bezel, perfect on an isofrane strap. What's the current price on a resto model?

The Mk1 ploprofs are good too:

What did they retail it for after? WF seem to be single-handedly inflating the UK 2nd hand market…
