Cheers lads, how much you pay Jords?

To be honest, I wouldn't ever sell it and it'd be passed down to my kids more than likely.
I would like box and papers, depends how much if effects the price.

Looking to buy in the next couple of months.

Also, what size is that reference? I assume they only come in one size?

DJ is the biggest seller of a big volume company, really worth looking at all the dial options etc and waiting for a perfect one to pop up as there are so many around. Also lots of fakes so buy from a trusted place…

None of the current models do much for me but I really like the CV2113. Any one own or handled in the flesh?

i've not got that exact model, but i do have a CS3110, which i love and can be picked up for relatively cheap (mine was £1200 about five years ago but they've not gone up all that much since then).

lugs have been polished to fuck, wouldn't touch it with a barge mate.

Tried on a datejust today and 36mm is too small and feminine looking for my wrist.
Do they do a bigger size of this in '87 or was it only one size?

One size for that model until the DateJust II recently I believe.

36mm is the classic size obviously. The Air King was always smaller I think (34mm) but I don't think they did a bigger dress watch then.

When I first tried it on the 36mm I also though it too small but I wear one most days now and now it looks just right. It's actually pretty chunky in its current incarnation.

The Datejust II is oversized and badly proportioned. The new 41 is Rolex fixing that misstep, just as they did for the Day-Date. Looks nice but I still prefer the 36.

of course it's polished but for the price he asked for it's more than worth it.

I wear a datejust daily. It's the perfect watch in my opinion.

haven't most seen some kind of polish if it's been serviced, can't tell how much unless you get a better look at the reverse on that case - looks ok to me.

Had a light polish by RSC, chamfers still sharp and intact when it came back, lost a touch from the corner of a lug.
