What strap would go nicely with a Longines Evidenza? Other than your typical brown or black calf. The croc that it came with died. Don't like croc anyway.

look for a blue leather strap that matches the hands and indexes. if you don't like that stay with brown or black because I think it fits perfectly.

sumbeam i actually bought the watch from a seller from russia on ebay called shmek-, then the bezel from am-watches. the nato is from ebay and is way too short I need to find another.

to get a complete custom vostok you can get one here just how you like it https://am-diver.com/ (I didn't know about this site until after I had ordered). it lets you see the watch + strap + bezel combo first

Guessed there would be a re-release with their new factory and roughly 20 year anniversary of original release. If it was the original size, upgraded to tegimented titanium and had a metal bracelet I would have made it my first real watch buy at £2k+, but it's none of these things and £4k. They fixed the date window though.

Just picked up my first Nomos. I've wanted a nice minimalist Bauhaus-inspired watch for a while now, so really happy with it. It's small in diameter relative to most contemporary watches (35mm, though wears bigger) but perfectly sized for my small (6.5") wrists. Very thin too so has a nice low profile.

Found this between a stack of old papers going through storage. Neat little piece. Anyone here willing to make a guesstimate about it's age?

I was also going through my papers in storage and these slipped out when I was moving my old invoices for groundskeeping and servant fees. Neat little pieces, anyone here know what they are or if they're worth anything? Probably of trivial value that anyone could find in their important papers:

It's a stopwatch mate, not a Faberge egg. I'm sorry that the only thing passed on in your family is FASD

Seems to be in the ballpark. Thanks, still puzzling why anyone would time 100 seconds though.

You're out of touch. Almost no one just finds a forgotten vintage omega lying around. You have a very privileged life and don't seem to realise.
