nice catch! this watch + the older version dial with the rose logo would be my perfect vacation pool watch. did you get the package with the nato as well?

Didn't like it on the wrist, felt far too big(coming from a SD owner). Was gutted.

That explorer is 20k though. Sometimes you have to be a little realistic. That CW is fucking great for the price if you can get past the name.

Didn’t say I was going to pull the trigger…so I guess I’ll go back to my original question… any decent sub 1k GMTs?

I for myself would go for vintage or at least neo-vintage

+ unique, charme, charisma
+ stand out between all the other new speedies

+ look for a watch with a nice patina and a clean bezel/ inlay
+ but decide first which dial version you want! pre moon etc.

I can't go with the Omega bracelet and would rock it with a NATO - if you would do the smame look for body only and pay less

Seen a nice 85' Speedy. The first with the sapphire clear back and with a nice patina & clean bezel. Not too fussed about heritage but know if I buy new it's just standard without character. Just not really bought much vintage & know it can be a minefield.
