Has anyone any advice on the two different sizes?

41mm = silver print

39mm = gold print

there's also the ref. 79220N (from Basel 2014) with the rose logo, white prints on the inlay and different dial but this has a much thicker case (kinda deepsea)

I personally would go with the 39mm

Thanks guys, very helpful. Both seem easy enough to get hold of. Wear a gmt master daily but quite like the look of the 39mm.

Was in Heathrow over the weekend, and was bored so walked around the watch shops, not really expecting anything. Asked for what I was on the waiting list for, and to my surprise, they said they had one come in today, but were holding for a client (eyeroll). Guy said if I was willing to take now, he would be happy to sell to me.

Was really hoping my ND sub purchase would last me until the other side of 30, but on the other hand, glad I managed to get the watch brand new and under retail, and also tell Rolex and that they noted my 'expression of interest' when I asked about a GMT Master II to go fuck themselves (yeah yeah I get its me still playing their game).

Well anyway, my new addition to the collection. Black Bay GMT.

An omega boutique offered a 9% discount. Can anyone recommend an AD (goldsmiths/Ernest etc) that can beat that?

I’ve read stories on other forums of people getting 20% off with 0% finance etc, but I’m struggling to see that..?

I have the money but would much rather finance (0%) it for obvious reasons

Any update on this deuce?

I almost got the same one as you, the cheaper 38mm imposter version, but couldn’t bring myself to it

Cheers Wembly, surprisingly happy with it. Took out some of the links last night, did a pretty good job (clasp is almost directly under the watch), and is actually really comfortable. Was considering getting another strap (BBs look great on cordovan leather from Google Images), but reckon can hold off. Summer is the best time for bracelets as I think rubber or leather look weird with t shirts and no other jewellery

Great watch deuce. Out of interest how hard is it buying an 42 speedy these days? Are they available in most ADs?

have a look at this! for me it almost looks better with the leather straps or natos specially in summer. I switch most of my bracelets for nato in summer cause its more comfy

fairly easy tbh.
every dealer i walked into had one in stock, but wasnt able to come to a good or any deal.

ended up going with Dom Hackett in hatton garden, couldnt recommend him enough. lead time was supposed to be 6-8 weeks, but was here within a week.
