nice catch deuce but the speedmaster works only with a nato for me the whole year (at least when its not a vintage one with the old bracelet)

its a strap monster to be fair. it comes with a black nato (and space suit strap that obvs wont be used). bought the omega croc deployant strap too to switch it up for more formal occasions.

that nato colour does look great, which strap is it?

Olive Bulang & Sons Nato id guess

Although you can’t see it when it’s on, definitely prefer the other caseback on that Speedie!

thats not my picture, I used it for reference only but it could be a Miros-Time nato

for authenticity (which would be the seamaster 300 military with a nato then) I use Phoenix MOD nato, for comfort and quality wise Bulang and Sons nato (but you have to like the thickness of it)

Bulang and sons are out off stock in the olive nato size you’d need. I’ve got mine on the Omega black nato which looks much better than the bracelet.

Asked for what I was on the waiting list for, and to my surprise, they said they had one come in today, but were holding for a client (eyeroll). Guy said if I was willing to take now, he would be happy to sell to me.

Was really hoping my ND sub purchase would last me until the other side of 30, but on the other hand, glad I managed to get the watch brand new and under retail, and also tell Rolex and that they noted my 'expression of interest' when I asked about a GMT Master II to go fuck themselves (yeah yeah I get its me still playing their game).

Well anyway, my new addition to the collection. Black Bay GMT.

Not to rain on your parade but make sure you keep the warranty handy as I keep hearing about issues with the complication. It's a known issue with this model & the reason I decided against getting.

Cheers man - yeah I'm very conscious of the date change issue (if that's what you were referring to!). Mine seems OK - did a bit of testing when I got it, and been OK for the past 4 days of solid wear. Also read that in the 2019 models they used a different part that fixes the issue.

Supposedly it’s not a part - the lubricant used in the initial models wasn’t up to spec

Sorry to lower the tone in here but any recommendations for a watch for my gf’s birthday. Minimal, white face with black leather strap. Budget £300.
Max bill would be perfect but £500 is too much.
