That's the one ^ will try turning it as it's been stubborn since the first time I removed the bezel so that could well be the issue, was thinking it was out of shape maybe I didn't put it back in the right place! Otherwise a DIY buy doesn't seem to be the right path.

Insert prices are insane. Was hoping to pick up a faded fat font with tritium but prices I've seen put me off and I reckon most have been fucked around with to get the fade but could probably stomach the uplift in cost on a good day, just wondered if there was a better place to look these days. Hard call as there's a few watches I wouldn't mind buying with 1.5K to spare.

I'm sure I recently came across a less known branded watch with the el primero movement in but can't remember what it was now. Nice watch ^

Ref light faced - the seller I just picked up a Seiko off just bought one of these…as ever, all subjective but I think this thing is a jaw dropper, probs similair price too and seriously nice taste.

Insert from Valentin?

who's Valentin?
Incredible story. Valentin is a guy who bought, amongst other parts, five 5517 inserts from a watch maker who mistook them for omega inserts. He paid around £300 for the lot, and I’m sure you know what the value of each one of those inserts is.

idts.

for all out here who own a omega! Bulang & Sons came together with Kaufmann, they produced the OG omega leather straps almost 50 years ago, and reintroduced the straps

It's the timex website - sign up for their newsletter and get 15% off when it comes back in stock. Use their 'email when available' on the product page.

Looking to add a speedy to the collection, but not clued up on anything Omega.

Want something vintage-ish, prefer tritium dials. Something that will hopefully appreciate.
Trying to build a decent collection I can one day hand down to my kids.

Have seen something referred to as an Ed White, Ref ST105.003-65, asking price 6k and looks to be all original and mint.

I know this is a broad question, but what kind of prices am I looking at and whats the differences in the references?

Going to move my Speedy on as I haven't worn it in months. I've not had it serviced in years, from a resale value perspective am I better off getting it serviced so it's in A1 condition or should I just sell as is for a lower price given it is due a service?
