Any idea why he stopped customising Rolex watches?

Not that I'd give the guy money as he comes across as an absolute buffoon.

Didn't think there would be much of an issue getting any precious metal Rolex. Except a green dial Daytona or skydwellers.

JCB talked him into making customs for his company and become the official Zenith customiser. Must be a good portion of money.

I used to rather like Zenith from a design perspective, and obviously their movements were great, but since Biver took over the overall aesthetic has tended towards the gauche. The original El Primero was a gorgeous design, but they now seem to pander to those who deem a tacky exposed balance wheel as somehow being the epitome of watch making

Christopher Ward C65 GMT Pepsi? Yay or Nay?

Not really saying yae or nay, but I personally prefer a slightly wider bezel, and there is something about the font they use for their logo that is just wrong and detracts from the otherwise elegant dial. It appears excellent value though and looks like a far more expensive watch than it is.

Would go for the Tudor then. It will hold value and I also prefer the wider bezel.

The Tudor is approximately three times the price though, albeit I agree that it's considerably nicer on every level. Really, that Christopher Ward doesn't have many competitors at its price point. The Seiko Prospex Pepsi, whilst not a GMT, is the only alternative option that readily occurs to me. The Christopher Ward looks far more refined and expensive than the Seiko though

Wearing the steel version of the CW at the moment. I can get you a healthy discount if you do go for it Disco. PM me if you want.

Agree with the point above about the bezel. It’s not so bad on the steel version but definitely is a problem on the other versions.

This one has a thicker bezel. Looks decent.

That version of the GMT with a thicker bezel looks far better.

This Ginza Ltd Ed SBDC114 is nice.
