I know shit all about watches especially buying them, but do authorised dealers in foreign countries adjust prices with exchange rate??

Dont believe so mate, think the watches are released with a RRP for that country and they usually stick with it until the manufacturer next revises RRP.

If we’re going to have a say only nice things policy then it’s going to need to extend to the rest of the forum as well. Good luck with that. Just genuinely shocked people will wear diamonds. ‘As long they’re happy’

Oosh. That’s my dream watch, that exact mode too. Love the fact they offer the different straps as standard too

Steel, Leather and rubber. It's a breeze to change them too, unlike PP !

Been looking for a sports watch with an integrated style rubber strap, Quite like the new seamaster nekton, will be nice to see some IRL pics;

Otherwise looking at an IWC Aquatimer Cousteau

Or the titanium 2000;

Or the Bulgari Aluminium (2020);

The IWCs and Bulgari have fairly pedestrian ETA movements inside; which I think might actually be a good thing as service costs will be much lower than the Omega. Leaning towards the Bulgari right now as the design is like nothing else out there but holding fire until I see some owner reviews / if any hit the grey market with a nice discount.

Anyone know some other watches with ‘integrated’ rubber straps I should look at? Unfortunately the holy trinity are far out of my league.

IMHO don’t sleep on the Tudor Pelagos. Can be had for 2500. Is Titanium with rubber strap in the box and I really like the matte ceramic bezel.

Go for the two line ETA version and the movement is much easier to service as well.

I second Pelagos. Great value, I would get one if it wasn't too big for me. Or a BB58 on third party rubber strap. Why rubber though?

seamaster is in a different league to the BB58/Pelagos imho. probably the best driver under 8k. bear in mind you'd probably be able to get one for 3.4k after a discount
Pelagos/BB58 are both great shouts/great watches

Always fancied getting the missus one of these that I could wear from time to time. Possibly less of the diamonds though, also been a fan of the wood / onyx dials.
