I like mine a little big snug - would rather that than it moving all over the place

I always have a firm fit on all of my watches! switching to leather or nato in summer and back to the metal bracelets in winter!

snug fit = less stretch on the bracelet

Want to start wearing this again but need it repairing.
Crown adjusts the hands and date ok and the date moves as it should be but it just doesn't work.

Can anyone recommend someone to look at it?

I wouldn't do that if I were you. It flexes the bracelet and that's not advisable.

I've had them service a couple of my watches including an Omega Geneve. They do a great job for a fair price. There might be a small waiting list though.

Like these - Seiko "Alpinist" 38mm. Shame about the price circa £600 would be a great watch at £250ish with some lower spec.

Crikey, is that really the price on one now? Remember a lot of amazon sellers with the forest green a couple years ago for $299.
edit, it the sarb017 I was thinking of. even so
call it the hodinkee effect?

Yeah I was a bit gutted to see the price! They are part of the Prospex line though
