Finally got round to wearing this and it’s lovely but a little too small for me so I let it go.

Am literally on the last notch on the strap so it’s a bit uncomfortable after a few hours of wear. Plus I’m trying to stick to 3 watches so just trying to declutter.

well, a sub/divers bezel has a purpose other than telling the time.
i think the whole 'tool watch' thing is redundant now anyway, and just a marketing gimmick

Have a bit random question to you watch enthusiasts.
Was wanting the new „batgirl“ since release and finally got fed up and paid the grey market premium for my 40th (next week). Got it unworn with box, papers and stickers. Didn’t buy it as an investment (would have gone for the pepsi version otherwise).
I won’t touch it till next week. However a friend of mind tries to convince me to keep the stickers on and put it in the safe as an future investment (despite mark up). This kinda took away the fun for as I was planning on wearing it. What are your thoughts?
when people make posts like this about their apparently 'rugged tool watch', its about time to give up the ghost and admit its simply just a 'luxury' watch/piece of jewellery, rather than a 'tool watch'.
i honestly think the whole 'tool watch' thing is just an excuse to justify a closed case back and general lack of finishing

Explorer then; it's not just about the complication. They have lume, they are automatic, they are steel, they are made to last. Any not too funky oyster can be dressed up, but they aren't dress watches.

i've not implied they're dress watches, they're not.
unless you're implying all watches fall into 2 categories, of 'tool watches' and 'dress watches'?

In 2020 a G-Shock is probably a better tool watch than any Rolex.
