They are all lovely, would probably go for a Rolex though if I had £12k to spend!

Is it just me who thinks that glow in the dark is a bit cheap? Handy but cheap!

I like Grand Seiko in theory but how is that not just a Datejust with some slightly naff styling?

Slighty naff Laughing out loud

Do not disrespect a watch with a Spring Drive movement like that.

Looking for some help as I know fuck all about watches really
I have a budget of 1000-1200 to buy a ladies watch for a work colleague retiring.
Can’t go outside the budget sadly as I was pushing for another grand to get some sort of entry level Cartier
Any recommends on a genuine decent watch at that level not a fashion watch
Was thinking longines or basic women’s tag but no idea what’s decent
It’s for someone around 60 needs to be classic style and not super trendy
Thanks in advance anyone who can offer some advice

Few nice Longines at that price point.

This seems a decent deal:

Tag Aquaracer looks nice too for the money.

You could get something from Gucci and add a note with WTTWOL on Laughing out loud

Terrible aren’t they. Very un-rolex move. Not really a fan of any of the new patterned dials. Bi metal explorer is also Puzzled

Love the taupe bb58 - just wish it came on a metal bracelet.

Like the taupe BB58 myself, might be my first watch purchase in a while.

I see Rolex have started offering the Sky-Dweller on the jubilee bracelet - does anyone know if it’s possible to buy the bracelet separately? I’d be interested in getting one for mine.

Looks nice but always thought the oyster makes that fluted bezel pop, favourite watch from Rolex (yellow gold), out of my league Cry .

They've confirmed it won't too, weird really considered they offer all other variants on the others.

Best place to get a jubilee bracelet refurbished in the U.K.?
Found a place in Hatton Garden quoting £450, has anyone else used someone before for this?

https://www.maharishistore.com/products/9371-royal-marine-1950-watch-case-aged-dial/ Thought this was pretty cool and a bit of fun for £400. Remember years ago they did a Panerai tribute that a few people copped.
