Sickery dickery dock Cool Swimming with that watch in the ocean reminds me of this sort of vibe - https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/spotted-a-patek-philippe-5960-annual-calendar-chronograph-in

All the Nautilus and Aquanaut models are meant for water so I think I am being fair to them in their natural habitat Eye-wink

I don't believe in keeping watches in safes or buy them for investment, watches are meant to be worn and enjoyed.. some might disagree but then again I don't wear hype or bling stuff to attract attention

I would be worried i'd knock it on a door or something. would stress me out

First cut is the deepest, after that you get used to it and they show the journey you have been on with the watches. If you want no scratches and dents then a ceramic watch is your best bet

I don't have anything near as valuable as the 5740/1G but that is an admirable view to take!

Congrats on the 5968, stunning addition.

Many thanks, much appreciated from a fellow enthusiast !Cool

Cents like the secret millionaire and Fudge is the ‘loadsamoney’ Harry Enfield guy*.

Thanks for the compliment Burny, I know most guys here appreciate finer things in life and I just share my joy and hobby.

Feel like it’s time to buy a new diver, but took this for a spin in the Bahamas…

Checking the engravings and the serial's etc on the inside of the clasp would be the best way to try and authenticate.

Could be the pic but general engraving looks a bit clunkier & font of Rolex looks off when I compare to this.
This is on a BLRO so slightly different clasp but I don’t think it should make a difference.

Cosco.
I rate GS as a brand, but don’t (currently) own one.
I own an Omega and Rolex.

Tbf my next watch will be a GS, the SBGA413.
