Third watch I've had done by him, services rolex's, pateks, APs etc.

Duncan is tempting and his quote was £150 for a movement service, excluding parts. Unfortunately he is unsurprisingly very busy and currently has a 16 week waiting list and you don't get in the waiting list until you ship him the watch. So that plus 4-8 weeks for the actual service and its almost half a year without the watch


That is the only issue with him to be fair, but I’ve always had my watches back at least a couple of weeks earlier, but it’s still a long wait.
I don’t wear a watch often so didn’t mind the time.

Anyone here wearing gold jewellery? I'm looking to maybe get a BB58 or Speedy 38, but I don't like the look of steel with yellow gold.

The new Tudor is a poor mans pelagos.

200m depth only instead of 500m. And they have the audacity to call it MARINE edition.

They dished these out to civil servants / people who do work with the gov in Qatar as thank yous, afaik they're not available from local dealers. I've also seen the Black Bay version in person which is also pretty cool. I agree it is a good look with no date but then they butchered it with the excessively bright notches and numbering on the bezel that makes it pop out too much and look almost toy like.

I think it's pretty cool - they designed it to spec, apparently its used when there are two divers, one is just below surface directing the other using the countdown bezel to time changes in directions (hence only 200m). It has a larger bezel to make it easier to grip with gloves and the solid bars + nato strap. As it has a lower water resistance its also slimmer

Good knowledge! I must admit I was underwhelmed at first. Having watched a review channel of it on youtube in 4k it did look much nicer than in press photos.
