I wear mine all the time. Scuffed the bezel once which I wasn't happy about and taken care of it since. I honestly hope it doesn't fade blue.

Worn > new

But only if you put the wear into it yourself. Otherwise it's cheating. Like pre-washed faded denim.

Agree and disagree. It’d be almost impossible or stupid expensive to get a 40/50 year old sub that had no signs of wear.
I like to think it adds to the history of the watch.

I have a vintage chrono caliber 11 watch handed down to me from my dad and it’s showing every sign of being 50 years old. Only ever had it serviced to keep it ticking. I did however buy a completely restored one of it as it is a beautiful watch and doesn’t lose its vintageness by looking as it did when bought in the 70s.

While we're all posting our subs - here's my 4 week old 126610LN. Managed to pick it up a few days before before the price hike! Sub date went up from £7300 to £8050 on 1st Jan Ubercool

Talking of Zenith, they’ve just revived the ‘Bank Vault’. I owned the original of this, would so love to pick this up. It’s marmite for sure but I think it’s a seriously cool piece. Ladder bracelet too. Cool

Would have that over the overrated ceramic Daytona any day.
