Because we both dislike Nazis in all their different guises. Fascist!

I just went Google searching, I never even thought about them using the Maltese cross and making the connection

I was merely talking about their use of a symbol that has as strong a connection to Nazis as the swastika. VC use of the maltese cross pre-dates the first and second World War but given how the symbol is perceived by many today and still in use by some hate groups you'd think they might have rebranded.

Just a personal issue with it I guess. I'd have to remind myself it's not Iron Cross but Maltese Cross whenever reading the time.

Oxford street Swatch had a 30 person queue at 7.40am. There was a swatch employee there with a clipboard and it seemed fairly organised.
Without continuing the nazi theme of this page, it seems very popular with the Somalian community.

Wow, I just potentially opened a can of worms looking at this thread. But I just picked up my first watch in maybe 20yrs, for practical reasons rather than a lifestyle indicator. It lights up and everything. What's even better is I didn't have to queue or exchange any pineapples for it. Just paypal'd Caol87 on here (thanks mate)

I can't be fucked with Moonswatches now. I've tried the Edinburgh store a couple times and they are getting deliveries at random times and in tiny quantities.

The pissing around has sucked the fun out of it for me and the scalping will continue until they get sensible stock volumes in.

Was passing the Edinburgh Swatch and popped in to ask as they had a full suitcase display in the window. Basically got a shrug of the shoulders and that was it.

Would be hell working there. Every phone enquiry "when moonswatch coming?", every person coming in shop "when moonswatch coming?"

Wait a minute, two pages ago you telling me to repeatedly go into the Rolex store to talk about a watch which is permanently sold out?
What’s the difference here?

Depends on your definition of 'repeatedly' I used the example of myself popping in once every two months.

A Swatch that is affordable to the masses that keeps promising it isn't going to be limited is very different from asking to go on a Rolex waiting list for a watch at least 30x dearer.

Definition: many times

There is no difference Laughing out loud

Apparently it’s alright to do it for a Rolex but not a Swatch.
