Going to shoot off a recession not selling much low ball offer for one of the IWC and will report back…

99% sure theyre legit, been in contact with them recently. i think a lot of the watches on the website a re pre-owned, you need to call and ask which ones.

You buy new cars though noble? Couldn't you use the same thinking with buying a practically new car, as you do with buying watches?

Laughing out loud

amazing price though. not much more than what youd pay for a s/s daytona.

lovely, but can't justify 8k on a watch, what if it gets nicked or you get mugged? 8k down the drain, couldn't live with that risk.

for this reason i have waited a year debating on whether i should get this sub date i want, its a great non depreciating chattel, but i would be worried some scum in a club would mug it off me.

Where do you get insurance for a watch from? I looked into it once and had trouble finding anywhere that does it. I wasn't bothered about it getting nicked more about fucking a watch up myself by hitting it on a rail or against a wall etc.

I put mine on my house insurance. I had one nicked from a rather unsavory club in Spain a few years ago and it was covered by contents insurance. Had an excess to cover but thats standard.

My dodgy uncle (who now lives in Spain) got his fake Rolex's nicked. He claimed real ones through insurance, apparently the Rolex documents he had were legit.

Mine are covered on the household but you have to take out extra cover as you are obviously using them outside of the house , which costs extra but worth it IMO
