All very good to know. I am waiting for my bond to mature at the end of the tax year and this what was putting me off.
With the interest rates what they are putting 3.5k into a fun watch is better than making 60 quid from the interest.
To be honest I could go straight to a daytona, but I actually enjoy the delayed gratification of saving for something before buying it, eg bought my oyster date 2 years ago, bored of it now so 2 years later I want a sub date saving the money over that period is easy, in 2 years time I will want a daytona but i want 2 years enjoyment out of the sub first etc.

Your meant to say it looks crap R! Now I'm visualising it on my wrist and doing the math. Mind you if I have to do the math then its probably abit too expensive for the moment.
The cigarettes are going up to 9 euro, so if I quit and put the money aside for a year it would be a nice goal.
