I bought that COS coat today and I think it's amazing. Fit is really good. There's a navy one as well..

I went and had a look at the cos camel yesterday. Fit is alright but colour is off. It's a bit too light I think. More like a beige. Also the no buttons thing looks bad I think. Dark brown buttons on the lighter materials look nice and I missed them on this coat. When you go for a camel coat you go for a more classic look and this didn't give me that impression. Has to be said I was going to wear it over a suit for work. Might work better as casual jacket.

Fit pic of the COS. Excuse the instagrammodel pose. It looks a lot better when it's open, mainly because the no-button look is a bit weird.

I like the fit, and the colour, but agree that the no-button effect when it's closed looks a bit off to me. Would have copped if it wasn't for that.

covered buttons and no top pocket was a killer for me as i'd wear it smart for work probably. Casually i think it works.

Looks good for casual. Tempted but think I would get more wear out of the black version I got.

Seem to be some reduced Topcoats and Peacoats at Jcrew for anyone that's interested:

https://www.jcrew.com/uk/mens_category/outerwear/topcoats/PRDOVR~05660/05660.jsp?color_name=hthr-sycamore

https://www.jcrew.com/uk/mens_category/outerwear/wool/PRDOVR~05536/05536.jsp?color_name=navy

I had a topcoat and the fit and finish was great.

That topcoat looks good Cracka. What's the sizing like?

I sold it on here so cant do measurements - very tailored/tapered fit though.

I found a 38 (without Thinsulate lining) would work as a topcoat for a jacket of that size, or if you just want a knit underneath would suit a chest measurement of 40.

They were about £450 before and £470 for the lined version so maybe they are re-evaluating their prices?

Thanks Cracka.

Pricewise i think that's just a promo for the UK as it's still full price on the EU website…

I'm looking for the Norse Projects Rokkvi Neoshell 2.0 in black Medium. Slept on it during discount seasons last year, seen a few sites who still have stock but let me know if you have one.

Looking for some cold weather gear and this popped up on ebay.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Everest-Parka-M-Marcus-Vilim-nigel-Norse-fjall-oipolloi-visvim-cabourn-woolrich-/161841441169?hash=item25ae806991

Obviously a Cabourn knockoff but if it's as good as it looks and if the spec is to be believed then it could be pretty interesting.

What do we reckon? Might take a punt.

How easy is it to dispute an item's description with regards to materials and get a refund off ebay?
