Could see if they have this in store if you're really on a budget(next to Arket in Regent St) Not as nice as the Officine, they make some cool stuff

The tyle looks good but want an actual down jacket. Cheers for the suggestion though!

I'll have a look but it'll be an absolute no go if it has that skull logo on the chest Laughing out loud

Generally more minimalist design, mostly made in Canada I think as well and infinitely more expensive!

Veilance is the “urban” brand rather than mountaineering etc.
More minimalist and expensive as Hanto said, also found it fits about a size smaller than the Arcteryx gear.

Can anyone tell me how the Patagonia gore-tex parkas fit? On some models they look quite fitted and others look boxy. I'm usually a large in other parkas.

I used to have one like this a few years ago and it was definitely on the slim/fitted side. Had it in a medium and I'm 179cm, 75kg if that helps.

Speaking of Patagonia and Arcteryx, can anyone recommend a very lightweight but waterproof shell? Wanting to pay less than 300.

Summit stuff might be a bit much for what I need but it looks great. Descente Allterrain looks nice too. Cheers for those!

Don’t know about best but I’ve had this jacket for 3 years and it’s taken a hammering. Still looks good and keeps me warm every winter. Really lightweight and packs down to nothing.

I have the Atom LT Hoody and that has served me fine, since I've had it got it for €15 at Ij Hallen market in Amsterdam. Best buy of the year for me.

Montane or mountain equipment for tech downs. Had a montane one for years, still good as new, not lost any down which is often an issue. Patagonia also.
