Thanks for the comments/advice chaps - pulled the trigger on a Monitor Down. Wore it for a brisk maiden stroll around Manchester this evening at a balmy 13°C - fully zipped up was deffo on the toasty side but I’m sure it’s the better option for me than the shell version with layers.

Can anyone recommend a good shortish khaki Mac or car coat? Liked the 3sixteen but spenny. Would consider high street

How do Filson mackinaw cruisers fit? Are they in any way a modern fit or very traditional?

Heavily tempted last week by this goretex jacket from stussy. Online pics were meh but in real life it has a sort of metallic shimmer which is sick. Not sure I can justify a third jacket in a month tho lol

However omicron has fucked up my plans to dip down to NYC so maybe a consolation prize?

After a green, maybe beige parka or something similar. Preferably down filled and water proof to some extent. Want it to cover my arse. Basically to keep me warm while watching the boy play football. About £300.

Anyone got the Arcteryx Revet what’s the sizing like? TTS?

Also can’t figure out if the plum is incredible or I should stick with black.
