Thats the only decent performance from them in the tournament and a distant memory in WC terms. Besides Argentina are broken, any half decent side could take them apart.
Croatia looked average against Denmark, and Russia plus have now played 240 minutes plus pens in last 2 games.
As I said above, nothing to fear imo.

The whole tournament he´s had the touch of an iron bar, he´s been caught out of position frequently, and can´t read his teammates. Should´ve been subbed after 15 mins against Colombia and not started against the swedes.

I personally don't think England are playing him well, but he does still contribute - just a terrible finisher - which has been his main weakness this season.

Think the only reason Sterling is staying on so late into games is that he's just a nuisance for the oppositions defence, that is about it i'd say as his finishing has been, well, not great, and he has been like that for City this season also, never really rated him, thought he has always been over-rated

…he scared the shit out of Sweden’s defence and Croatia will be hoping he’s rested on Wednesday.
^^^This, his pace is frightening. - plus he makes so many unselfish runs off the ball, creating space for others. He's a confidence player and could do with a goal to lift him; probably nip and tuck between him and Rashford to start but he deserves his place after the Sweden game.
What’s more annoying than Sterling being so utterly shit is that none of the commenteriat are talking about him trying to trap the ball like an elephant trying to stamp on a mouse. It’s like they’re willingly turning a blind eye. I would fully back him to do something world class in a situation where England lose to Croatia tho.
