gerard and Henderson totally uninspiring

This is so backward thinking though, for a decade we were all moaning about 442. Maybe as before we should know our level and accept we are piss poor all over. CSB but I am convicted over the last 20 years the policy of picking quick and strong over pure talent at academy level has fucked us over.

it is. but we cannot play any other system effectively enough at the mo,especially if you play the likes of rooney regardless of form. imo, lambert was a better option to play with sturridge with the creative supplying the ammo behind them.

Baines has been disappointing considering his prem form and knocking Cole out the team. I think Shaw should play against Costa Rica.

Shocking performance. Has Gerrard ever been able to control a game like he's been asked to? Too old for a midfield duo.

No leadership, Jagielka's lucky there's no better options at the moment. Sterling's a bright spark but looked very raw during the tournament. Johnson would rather dribble 5yards then pass 5 instead of playing a quick 10yard pass.

Ssquare fucking pegs in round fucking holes EVERY fucking time. Play players in their preferred positions, DON'T just chuck form or quality into places that their uncomfortable with. That's managerial inadequacy.

We didn't retain any sort of quality possession at all. Down the flanks we preferred to run down a blocked alley instead of turning around and playing backwards to start again - that's purely intelligence lead though, I don't expect current England players to actually show that they're familiar with the intricacies of modern football.

At no point in the last 2 gams has Hodgepn picked a 'comfortable' team. If he wanted to 'build' for the future then he could've chosen players to perform in their best positions and fucked off the old guard. Instead he's fallen between two stools. Fuck him, the cunt.

Thought we played well. Difference was a world class player. Would have been happy with a draw. Never known an England team to dominate possession like that. So many what ifs if we could just have put a couple away.

Suarez is just too good. Wish him well rest of the tournament. Can see what it means to him.
