To contrast with the best purchase of the year, what was your worst pick-up?
I bought the usual assortment of eBay things that didn't fit etc but only one thing made me genuinely angry:
I'd bought the trousers from this range and they are one of my favourite running purchases, decent level of waterproofing at the front but completely breathable and light, great side zips. Just all-round great, so I had high hopes for the top.
It is fucking shite, no lining to the waterproof bit so it feels horrendous when you sweat in it.
You could replicate this much more cheaply by cutting the front of a tee and stapling a bin bag there instead.

Who is sponsoring the thread this year, Cent again?
For me it's probably some Resolute 710 which fitted great until the first proper wear and now feel at least a size too big.

Do yourself a favour and back it as soon as it arrives.
The trousers are so well thought out I can't imagine how they got the top so badly wrong.
I got it in the sale with an extra 10% and still hate it.
The trousers have got a very thin lining beneath the shower proof bit so they still feel comfortable but the top hasn't for some reason.
I genuinely started worrying wearing it, had a heavy feeling over my whole chest and thought something was wrong with me, then I realised I just had a sweaty layer of plastic glued to my chest
The other nice touch is that if you take a selfie in it the reflective bits look like you're wearing a rejected Strictly costume or you're cosplaying General Zod

Love the look of Resolute jeans but read an interview where he mentioned they were specifically designed for a Japanese shape so virtually no backside and gave up on ever getting a pair to fit me.

Definitely anything I've bought that is a Uniqlo Collab. When will we learn

Not that it's bad quality or anything, but gotta be an Orslow army shirt for £200. For £200 I'd expect it to be top notch, but it seems just slightly above average. Plus, fit is probably exact replica of an actual vintage military piece, so doesn't fit me quite right and just find myself not wearing it at all

Pretty sure everything else LFC has posted is a sneaker so imagine any boot would feel pretty heavy in comparison.

Yeah, I get the heavy comment, but uncomfortable? Did you definitely get the right size LFC? Any Virgil’s Ive worn have been really comfortable.
