a friend of mine got a 360 last week and has got just a few games cause we haven't been in the 360 universe (magazines …). could you just list your personal favourite games …

Just tested this and got it working. Can send a live football stream from my PC using software called Orb to the 360 via Wifi. The 360 will then play it on my LCD and the quality is perfectly watchable. 3pm Sat football in your living room

I'm not going to do the sensible thing and go out, drink and meet some women…. yes trying to redeem myself from being a geek Oops

Think the spring update is out today. Those with a modded DVD firmware then don't update. You need to flash the FW before you do.

I used transcode 360.

Orb is great for if you are at work but it weighty software.

Tversity is another good piece of software to use.

Ah yes sorry i thought that is what you were using.

It's great when hooked up to the xbox.

Download this - http://www.elephantsdream.org/ and stream it. Short HD film free to download.

I need some more HD content to download so I can stream but my connection is only 1.2mbs.

I'm only using it for sending the football streams to my TV. Tried Orb with an AVI and the quality isn't great. Pixelates.

I'll have a look at that.

I was in the middle of a game on Pro when I just got a connection ended message?

Nope don't have one. Tend to download most of the stuff I watch so cant see I'd use it much. Meant to be very good though at what it does.

Not done mine yet as not net at home currently (plus I'm at work now). I'm not sure but I think last time it just goes ahead with the download.

There is a new 5.3 FW which is meant to be fine with the update. The update with the 5.2 FW would allow MS to know when a back-up was in the drive.

Reading what I can it seems that all backups still play fine and can be used on Live. However they're not sure if MS can detect you're now using a back-up and therefore may take action in the future ie ban you from Live.

Play on Live at your own risk I guess.

the consensus though is that due to the revenue Live Arcade and Marketplace generate they'd be unlikely to ban from Live unless people find a way to cheat using a modified console which is not possible as yet.
