I dont mind foreign call centers but the bad line always makes them really hard to hear

managed to set up my wireless xbox live through my laptop without the little £50 adaptor.
was quite surprised it could be done so easily. check youtube for loads of how to vids, make sure its one for your operating system
edit: also if anyone wants to play some SF4 then add me, although im not very good at the moment.

Some advice please before i go through the nightmare of contacting MS.
My 360 Arcade console has a fuzzy screen, best way i can describe it.
The 360 desktop is fine and so are game loading screens and game pause screens but all in-game graphics have mad snow static over everything.
Its the same for all games.
I've unplugged everything and cleaned the connections but no luck.
I'm not on live, i run a hdmi cable but have swapped it for the supplied scart cable and i get the static on that too.
The console is not showing any RRoD and the light on the power pack is behaving as it should too.
Any ideas?
Lastly, had the console for 2-ish years. Will it be covered by warranty?
Thanks.
Guido

Will be under warranty if you get the RROD but if you don't then it's not. Sounds like the gfx chip is on the way out. next step may be games freezing then hopefully you'll get the 3 red lights.

i found the wireless adapter a bit unreliable so bought a 20m cable, but that is pretty unpractical so i moved the router.

anyone who buys an xbox is a totall mug FACT!!
with xbox you have to put batteries in the controller (ps3 you charge) you have to pay for the internet with xbox (free on ps3) you cant play blu-ray on xbox (you can on ps3) and they have fuck all hardrive with wank graphics
paying an extra oner for a ps3 is so worth it in the long run

well i use rechargeable batteries in my controller so its not really an issue.
the online community is also far better, if you can justify paying one hundred pounds more for the console and more for all the games then surely you can justify paying £40 per year for a better online experience…
i have played call of duty 4, fifa and street fighter online on both consoles and found the experience on xbox to be a lot quicker, easier, and dare i say it, full of better players. I only really play online so the xbox is far better.
Also I would never watch a blu-ray dvd anyway, I cant even think of the last time I watched a standard dvd…. I either watch films in the cinema or on my laptop/laptop linked to tv.
