I do it through vuze, you can just drag and drop files and they stream perfectly.

You don't necessarily need wireless though as long as you can connect to XBL you should be able to stream.

Just done it here though, works a treat!

It won't work in Manc though, because I live in an absolute dump with a dial-up connection.

Luke, if you have a usb memory stick you can put the film on that on your PC and plug that into your Xbox and watch.

Should be able to plug laptop into xbox via a crossover / LAN cable. You might need the latest windows media player/centre on the laptop and to update the xbox firmware. We watch stuff we have downloaded in the lounge streaming from our computers downstairs, even HD streams fine.

Yeah its easy. Ive never had an issue with downloaded torrent videos although I remember the first time I did it the Xbox had to download an update. Since then its worked a treat.

cheapest place to get a month's gold for XBL? I will prob not use it again after that.

Also is Sky over the xbox cheaper than normal Sky over the dish? Anyone got it? Can you cancel after a months notice etc.

xbox live for amonths like a fiver or something wont get cheaper. and i think the sky player is only available if you already have sky. you need a username and password to log in to it.

ah just checked sky.. you can subscribe separately to sky using your xbox, dont need a dish or anything but its £15 for standard package..£32 for entertainment ands movies and £34.50 for entertainment and sports. Bout same as normal sky i think..Although if you already have sky subscription you can watch it for free on xbox with your sky log in.

I was wondering if I could use my mates ID to sign in on my xbox?
