Skate 3 is worth getting imo, maps not perfect but some great spots but yeh too many hills.

Yeah this. I mean getting off your board in 2 was handy but its introduction just drew attention to how much more important the map design was. And don't get me wrong, 3 is worth getting like all of them but with no preconceptions its definitely worth starting earlier and cheaper.
