Amin - can't go wrong with either. personally I prefer the indy's. Consider the Red Wing 9030 too.

Nick - not a fan of the red wing. Toe box looks too big and rounded in volume.leaving towards the Indy at the moment as I have to wait a few months for the context x alden.
Compulsive - get the belstaff brad instead

Viberg maybe? Check superdenim for those. Prefer the context collab colourwise.

both are great shoes!

considering my advise i would tend to the alden x context but if you have to wait a long time until you get these (its getting colder and colder) i would say go for the indy boot.

nice classic pair of boots Cool

The vibergs that I liked on superdenim are sold out on my size plus they are £100 more then the Aldens.

Going to go for the Indy depending on how they look with my apc. Will report back later on.

yeah aldens over vibergs and redwings (in this style anyway) have you conidered the black ones amin? will suit demin and a smarter look too with black trousers. these ones:
not sure how they compare in price with the brown ones you posted but i remember seeing them and thinking yeah they are well nice.

^^ they are very nice but I've already got a pair of black cordovan derbys. Need a more of brown boot to wear with denim for when the weather gets really shit

Well nicer. Purple contrasts too much with the pattern.

this:

or that:

i was pumped to see the purple melange appearing at tbs however the blue one would suit my wardrobe much better. i normally hate purple but this melange one is just Ubercool

the only problem i have is the triple blue special looks more like a double blue. anyone already seen a sns x tbs in triple blue special irl?

i'm tempted to pull the trigger on the navy one, purple one doesn't look quite right

here another pic of the purple one! i think the tbs pics are made with bright lightning which seems to split the pattern and the colour more than it looks like in real life.

will decide next week, hard decision.. Sad

amin - maybe worth emailing a few places to see if any int customs are due in for FW12 - Bureau etc. I know they have some really nice Vibergs coming but normally have some Aldens and custom trickers etc.

prefer the plain toes over them indys (so styleforum those boots)

+ why not a pair of roo Virgils in that colour?

Dee- sizing is going to be an issue for me. Trunk have got the Indys in my size so was going to op by when they open up today. already been in contact with context and they are willing to order a pair for me. I am usually a US7 in USA made footwear and i know most retailers get US8/UK7 sizes and up.

Would love a pair of virgils but smallest is a US8 and i think they will be too big. dont want to risk getting them from japan, etc and then they dont fit
