agree with everything you said, but unfortunately paying retail for the black is off-limits for me. i 'only' paid 600 Euros for the gray so there's a good chance to get the money back when i either don't get along or find a black for a good price. though to mention a fucked up fact:
i'm hocked to these leathers now and will def. safe some cash for at least another one.

I like the ground jacket but £450 seems nuts to me, I've not seen one in the flesh though, so maybe I'm missing something.

^ Yeah it's too much at that price but then most EG is overpriced. Can get it for just over £300 though but i've not seen it in the flesh either.

I sold one on here. It's definitely a summer jacket, super light nylon.

Nanamica briefcase. Handle too feminine?

Don't mind the handle but that middle strap ruins the cleanness of it

I thought the same but it's far more subtle than the others. Any recommendations for a work bag that has a slimish profile would be much appreciate.

Yay on the jacket for summer

Nay on the bag. Try Porter maybe?

I got a porter briefcase but i think more limited for stuff beyond work. Just seen a Filson briefcase, which is much more me, for 40% off, so pleased with that!

I have a filson and I'm happy with it but find the strap a bit crap

I'm hoping it'll hold up as I have the large duffle and the stitching on the strap hooks came away after 6 months. Does the lifetime guarantee apply in the UK, as I may get Mr Porter/Filson Carnaby St to look at it. Leather is starting to age really nicely though, which is a shame.
