It's nice but doesn't look particularly special.
Spending Visvim money it would have to be *exactly* what I want and it doesn't sound like this is for you?

I like it but agree with the above. You could probably get something by SNS herning in the sales for much cheaper that does the same job.

Just to continue on the folk fat face debate…

Folk x John Lewis

Quite like it except the logo.

I guess that Folk wouldn’t want to normally distribute their stuff to a store like John Lewis so a collab is a way for them to access that wider tier without diluting their brand too much. That’s if Folk are making the clothes, but it could be they are providing design services, print etc and using JL’s production sourcing (seems more likely given price point and BCI cotton which I don’t think folk ordinarily mention?). In which case it’s a fairly easy way for Folk to get paid and JL to get a cooler brand into their store.

I wonder if they’ve recently had some investment and it’s a way to expand?

That folk x fatface stuff is all dirt cheap now. Got one of the rugby shirts and the beige sweatshirt, quality on both is great for £20.

Do it now and again with snuff suede or burgundy loafers. Works better with a casual loafer (beefroll, weejun etc) and denim if white, off white works with smarter shoes and trousers.

I think quite a deep red sock works in a similar way and is easier to pull off.

More of a which than yes or no… Looking for some winter Olive cords which are on the casual side to avoid 'Peter Christian' vibes. Probably wear with an Oxford shirt, Navy or Cream shetland

Vetra - thinking they are a little too smart but cut looks great.

Pherrow's (these are actually a lot wider in the leg, proper beefy weight though)

Engineered Garments (cost a fortune but with the panels perhaps a bit busy, clearly the best made though)

The EGs are really nice, by far the best there imo.

Stan Ray have a pair of cord painter pants which are very nice. Have fatigues in cord too but no olive as far as I could see.

Potentially any winter footwear

Danner Boots, LL Bean Boots, Alden all weather walkers, leather cons, Alden Indy boot, Yuketen ranger Mocc…

Love the idea of the Pherrows on the more casual end, the vetra would be more like raw denim or flannel trousers which I'm already set for
